Free Friday Workshops for Tomorrow, March 19th

Here is the workshop schedule for Friday, March 19th:

• Introduction to WordPress (10 to 11am) - Brian will be covering the basics of small site building and blogging using the world famous WordPress. How is a blog made? Learn about the difference between a post and a page, upload images, and especially, how to write for the web.
   
• The New Google Apps Marketplace (11 to noon) - Integrate add-on programs and services that can become part of your Google Apps productivity suite. See examples including CRM, Workflow, Sales and Marketing, Accounting & Finance. 
   
• Build your Intranet with Google Sites (noon to 1pm) - Google Sites is a simple and secure, specialized web site builder offered as a part of Google Apps. In this class, we'll show you how to easily build a secure company intranet containing links to resources, policy documents, meeting notes, and even internal business or marketing plans. Need to build a project or team site? Create a centralized resource for internal and external team members to share files, keep meeting notes and track progress. Get more out of your Google Apps deployment.
   
• The Fresh Web (1 to 1:15) - This week on the web. The web is an ever-changing, even accelerating, environment. Many of these changes affect you as a web author or manager. Morgan will help put these into perspective by presenting a short review of web news for the week ending March 12th.
   
• Center Stage Review (1:15pm to 2) - Drop in and learn (or re-learn) how to manage your site using Alpine's Content Management System, Center Stage. See the built-in keyword analysis, suggestion, and redirect tools in action and learn how Center Stage makes search engine optimization a breeze. If you haven't been in for a while or have new job responsibilities that include Center Stage, please feel free to stop by.
