Easy Online Surveys using Google Apps

Ever had to gather input from more than 5 people using just an email and a spreadsheet?  I don't exaggerate when I say it's an utter nightmare.

One incredibly valuable feature of Google Apps are "Forms".  Using Forms, easily build a survey, invite people to complete the survey, then have Google collect all the responses in a live spreadsheet.  It will even build pie charts, bar charts, and automatically summarize responses.

Free Friday Workshops for July 17th

The workshop schedule for this Friday, July 17th:

• Introduction to WordPress (10 to 11am) - Brian will be covering the basics of site building using the world famous WordPress 3.0. Learn about pages, images, multimedia, and writing effectively for a web audience.
   
• Survey Building with Google Apps (11 to noon) - Learn how to collect, then process and analyze results using the Google Apps survey builder. We will discuss and build specific applications such as expense reports, surveys, opt-in forms, and group meeting time preferences.
   
• The Fresh Web (noon to 12:15) - This week on the web. The web is an ever-changing, even accelerating, environment. Many of these changes affect you as a web author or manager. Morgan will help put these into perspective by presenting a short review of web news for the week ending July 17th.

These classes are free and open to the public. Remember, we are located at 790 SW Industrial.
