Here is the workshop schedule for tomorrow, Feb 19th:
- Introduction to WordPress at Alpine (10 to 11am) - Brian will be covering the basics of small site building and blogging using the world famous WordPress. What, Why, and How is a blog made? Learn about the difference between a post and a page, upload images, and especially, how to write for the web.
- Social Media Basics (11am to noon) - Drop in and learn how to leverage extensive social media coverage, but without spreading yourself too thin. Learn how the pros link services together so you can participate in the conversation while remaining focused.
- Blogging for Business (noon to 1) - The million dollar question about blogging is not why, but how. What are your goals? Who is your target? What is the editorial voice? The angle? In this new class, we'll talk about planning your blog, defining your voice, and telling your story. We know that a good stream of content attracts prospects, holds their attention, engages them in conversation, and converts them to customers. We'll talk about how can you generate ideas, build and follow an editorial calendar, then utilize keyword research and use social media to extend your reach.
- The Fresh Web (1 to 1:15) - What's New on the web this week. Get the scoop on emerging trends and look ahead toward some of the most interesting buzz in the industry.
- Center Stage Review (1:15pm to 1:45pm) - Bring lunch, a laptop, and learn how to manage your site using Alpine's Content Management System, Center Stage. See the built-in keyword analysis, suggestion, and redirect tools in action and learn how Center Stage makes search engine optimization a breeze. If you haven't been in for a while or have new job responsibilities that include Center Stage, please feel free to stop by.
Remember, we have a new location at 790 SW Industrial directions >
