The mission of the Alpine Webinar series is to share the best of what we know in a fun, casual format similar to our in-person locals classes, but available over the web for our many clients and friends that don't live in Central Oregon, or might simply be chained to their desk.

This week, Dustin will be covering Center Stage basics such as adding and editing pages, uploading images and documents,  embedding images, and providing document downloads.  Drop in and play stump the web guy!

Free Friday Workshops for July 30th

The schedule for this Friday, July 30th:

• Writing Search Engine Friendly Pages (10 to 11am) - How to write good copy for web visitors and still be search engine friendly. Includes keyword research and planning, inverted pyramid writing techniques, and using metatags accurately.
   
• Web Images with Photoshop (11 to noon) - Learn about the science behind web images and how to take advantage of how the browser, human eye, and human brain are tricked by color, position, and movement. Morgan will be showing his favorite techniques for delivering high impact sites that download quicker, display faster, and look great.
   
• The Fresh Web (noon to 12:15) - This week on the web. The web is an ever-changing, even accelerating, environment. Many of these changes affect you as a web author or manager. Morgan will help put these into perspective by presenting a short review of web news for the week ending July 30th.

These workshops are free to the public and are located at the Alpine Internet Office in Bend's Mill Quarter. 790 SW Industrial Way.
