Working Wonders Childrens Museum

Working Wonders is a non-profit children’s museum that relies on grants, event and exhibit sponsorships, donations, and fundraising events to stay open. Only 40-50% of museum expenses is covered by earned revenue. The museum has significantly increased its public outreach and is serving more and more underprivileged children and families this year and that will all go away if Bend does not show its support.

Working Wonders Children’s Museum needs your help. The staff there have made it very easy to help.  You could even do it right now while you are at your computer.

Free Friday Workshops at Alpine

The schedule for this Friday, August 14th:

• Introduction to WordPress at Alpine (10 to 11am) - Auz will be covering the basics of small site building and blogging using the world famous WordPress. What, Why, and How is a blog made? Learn about the difference between a post and a page, upload images, and especially, how to write for the web. Optional Registration >
   
• Video, Music, Podcasts, Audio, and Multimedia WordPress Plugins (11 to noon) - Auz will be leading a discussion on this type of plugin with WordPress. Optional Registration >

These WordPress classes are open to the public, so feel free to invite a friend.

• Center Stage SEO Techiques (noon to 1pm) - Clients are invited to bring lunch and learn how Center Stage can help you discover and expose rich SEO content throughout your website driving traffic and marketing effectiveness. Overview, demonstration, and discussion will be led by our support whiz Dustin. He will reserve 20 minutes for open questions on Center Stage. Optional Registration >
